First, we seek to understand the current situation of work stress, social support and health status of preschool educators; and then explore the differences in work stress, social support and health status of preschool educators with different background variables such as service staff working pressure, as well as the social support and health status. Finally, we examine the mediating effect of social support for preschool educators and their work pressure, health status. In this study, the survey was conducted among the Nantou County preschool educators, with the aim to measure and record "work pressure, social support and health status of preschool educators". 342 out of the 360 surveys issued were responded, with the survey respond rate of 95%. To test for the results of the survey, descriptive statistical analysis, independent sample t test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson's product correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out. The results were as follows: 1. Preschool educators display moderate level of awareness for "work pressure", scoring highest for "classroom teaching" and "workload". 2. If there is a significant difference in work stress perception by the kindergarten service personnel due to length of service, job title, type of service organization and whether they have a qualified teacher certificate. 3. Preschool educators display positive health status, however displaying high levels of "physical discomfort". 4. If there is a significant difference in health status awareness between kindergarten service personnel due to age, length of service, job title, type of service organization, classes in charge and whether they have a qualified teacher certificate. 5. Preschool educators display positive social support, and it displaying rates "family support" as the highest. 6. If there is a significant difference in social support perception by the kindergarten service personnel due to age, length of service, job title, type of service organization and whether they have a qualified teacher certificate. 7. There is a strong positive correlation between work pressure and health status, with working stress having 65.6% significant predictive force on health status, thus the higher level of work stress, the worse the health status. 8. There is a low negative correlation between work pressure and social support. The higher the social support, the lower the pressure on their work. 9. There is a positive impact of social support on the health status. The higher the social support, the better the health status. 10. There is a mediating effect between social support in the work stress and health status. Finally, the results of the study will suggest topics for future research and for practical references.
