The participants were three 7-year-old children with autism. A single-subject experimental design of multiple baseline design across subjects and multiple baseline design across behaviors were used in this study. The independent variable of the study was video model training. The dependent variable were the percentage of correct responses of (1) the child can express “stop” with assertiveness, and (2) perform the “seeking help skills” across the acquisition, maintenance and generalization phases. Visual analysis and the information from observation were used to analyze the effects of video model training across the participants. Through the questionnaires and interviewed the subjects’ parents to confirm the social validity of the study. The results showed that the video model training: (1)could enhance, maintain and generalize the ability to express“stop” with assertiveness when encounter the bully situations, (2) could enhance the participants using different words to stop the bullying situations, and (3) could enhance, maintain and generalize the seeking help skills. Social validity dataalso showed the positive responses and highly agreement of this outcomes from the caregivers of the participants. Implications of video modeling training for dealing with bullyof children with ASD are also discussed.
