A Study on use the Internet Behavior and Interpersonal Relationship of Electrical Engineering and Electronic Engineering Group’s Students in Technical Senior High Schools---By Cases in Taichung City

碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 105 === This study aims to explore the Internet behavior of students of electronic and electrical engineering group in technical senior high schools and how the Internet behavior of these students with dissimilar background variables influences their interpersonal relationships. Based on relevant literature analysis, a questionnaire was designed as the main research method. 547 students of electronic and electrical engineering group in six technical senior high schools in Taichung were sampled. The collected data were analyzed with various methods of statistical analysis, including frequency distribution, percentage, average, standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, chi-square test and Pearson product-moment correlation. The findings of this study are as follows: 1. Students of electronic and electrical engineering group used the Internet most for recreation and making friend/chatting with friends. 2. Concerning to the frequency of daily using the Internet, male students were more than female students; but female students spent more time on Internet every day than male students. In terms of the online activities, male students preferred recreation; but female students more liked to learn something new. 3. The first grade students were the most frequency of using the Internet and preferred to interact with their peers, on the other hand, the second and third grade students more engaged in learning something new online. 4. Students of electronic engineering Dept. had more seniority of using the Internet than students of Electrical engineering Dept. On the contrary, students of Electrical engineering Dept. spent more time online every day and had more frequency of using the Internet than students of electronic engineering Dept. 5. The students whose parenting attitudes are free and indulgent used the Internet at younger age and had more frequency of using the Internet daily. Their Internet behavior was for recreation, data collection and learning new knowledge. 6. The first grade students had more frequency of peer interaction than the second grade ones. 7. The students whose Internet behavior is on social activities and recreation had better interpersonal relationships. The above findings are contributed to schools, teachers, parents/guardians as well as education authority. Finally some implication also provide for further research.
