Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中央大學 === 電機工程學系 === 105 === The design of series antenna array with left-handed transmission line (LH TL) are discussed in the thesis. In the section regarding the antenna array, we add a quarter-wavelength impedance transformer at the feed point of each antenna element to obtain a single resonant mode. We also change the shape of the feed line so that it has a phase difference of 360 between the antenna elements. For the far field of the antenna array, we find that such an antenna array will have a gain saturation phenomenon. Also, the main beam of antenna array will be deformed due to changes in frequency. In order to solve the problem of deformation of radiated field, we use the theory of LH TL to design transmission lines, and some problems in the processing of design are encountered. There are mainly three problems: too much insertion loss, the insufficient physical length of the LH TL, and the unfit electrical length of LH TL for the specifications of series antenna array. To understand these problems, we use simulation software to do the analysis and investigate the feasibility of its implementation. The full-wave simulation software used in the thesis is HFSS, and the circuit simulation software is ADS.
