This enables users to compare whether their current tooth brushing technique is different from the Bass technique of tooth brushing by using their mobile phone after they have learnt the correct method of tooth brushing. The user’s tooth brushing records are obtained using this system and transmitted to the cloud-based server designed in this study using MQTT. Thus, in an environment with many people, each person can use their own smart toothbrush for tooth brushing and the mobile phone gateway program will show the time taken for tooth brushing and level of completion, so that everyone can understand and maintain oral health. Dentists can also use this system to understand their patients’ current tooth brushing status, so that patients and dentists can achieve a better dentist-patient relationship.
