Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 網路工程研究所 === 105 === In recent years, the popularity of mobile devices allows people to use the Internet to connect with each other and enjoy a variety of existing communications software services such as Skype, Line, WeChat, etc., but these services must connect to the internet and get support by server. You cannot use a variety of multimedia services if you locate in an area without internet support. The Wi-Fi Alliance announced Wi-Fi Direct technology in 2010, enabling direct connectivity between devices without the need for any wireless infrastructure support and inheriting the benefits of Wi-Fi such as high bandwidth, security, and popularity. While Bluetooth is another wireless technology and suitable for multimedia transmission over short distances. In this thesis, we propose a mixed Wi-Fi Direct/Bluetooth network P2P media streaming application that provides audio streaming and text messaging services and does not require any Internet support. The use of Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth support each other, the real transmission distance can be extended. In this thesis, the delay and packet loss rate of voice transmission are tested for different situations, and the feasibility of voice messages in various situations is evaluated
