Using the developed method, the robot can execute a series steps to complete a task by giving a simple voice command. The task learning system was developed by using the Hidden Markov Model (HMM) to determine the associated locations for task execution. The proposed method has been implemented on an experimental home robot. A hand-held tablet computer was used as the voice command interface in the experiment. Several practical experiments have been out carried to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method.
