Method: Twenty-two male judo athletes took part in study(age 20.65±1.22 years, weight 77.54±12.79kg), The body composition, maximum strength, vertical jump and SJFT were tested. Vertical jump test included counter-movement jump (CMJ) and squat jump(SJ), both of these jumping task included loaded(>20kg) and unloaded(<1kg). The Pearson product moment correlation coefficient was used to determine and analysis the relationships between body composition, maximum strength, vertical jump and SJFT. Participated were separate into two groups, lightweight(73kg, n=9). Result: It shows significant correlation between body mass and body fat with SJFT index(r =.64~.76, p <.05) ; significant negative relationships also found between body mass , body fat, and total numbers of throws(r =-.82~-.44, p <.05), were shows significant correlation between four jump height and back squat test(r =.43~.52, p <.05). Rate of development(RFD) in vertical jump have no significant collection with SJFT and maximum strength test. Discussion: Our research showed, athletes were lower body fat have better performance in SJFT. Although, maximum strength and SJFT have direct collection, but vertical jump height were shows significant correlation between maximum strength and SJFT. Our research suggest judo and strength and conditioning coaches, if judo athletes have well controlled their body composition and enhance lower-body muscle power, it would help them improve specific conditioning performance.
