Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 教育政策與行政學系 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of mobile instant messaging software by administration staff in elementary schools in Nantou County and make comparisons to see how such use differs with different background variables. A survey was conducted on administration staff in elementary schools in Nantou County by distributing questionnaires to 94 elementary schools in the county in June, 2016. Among the 500 questionnaires distributed, 420 were collected, amounting to a response rate of 84%. The collected data was first organized and then underwent statistical analysis using descriptive statistics, independent t-test and One way ANOVA to achieve the purpose of the study. Based on the analysis results, the following main conclusions are drawn: 1. The use of mobile instant messaging software by administration staff in elementary schools in Nantou County is in a good state. 2. The type of communication such use is intended for is mainly parallel communication. 3. The positive impact of such use outweighs its negative impact. 4. Administration staff with different user experiences exhibit significant differences in ‘personal use’, ‘used for what type of communication’ and ‘positive impact of use’. In line with the findings and conclusions above, the following suggestions are made for educational administration authorities and school administrations: 1. Suggestions for educational administration authorities (1) Organize knowledge programs for communication technology and enhance the performance of mobile instant messaging software. (2) Establish rules for the use of mobile instant messaging software for greater information security. 2. Suggestions for school administrations (1) Encourage school administration staff to use mobile instant messaging software and make the most of the diverse functionality of such software. (2) Create a messaging group consisting of the administration team to enhance communication efficiency within the organization.
