Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 台灣文學系 === 105 === This thesis aims to analyze the similarity and differences between leftist and rightist Chinese political fiction of 1950s, using “Song of Youth” by socialist Yang Mo and “Cousin Lianyi” by anti-communist Pan Renmu as an example. The author primarily focuses upon the basic plot structure of the novels and the system of literary characters within, explores the possibility of both genres being related to the Soviet socialist realism and notes some differences between the Chinese political fiction and the latter.
