By conducting material test of glass, pushover test and shaking table test, we can collect experimental data for analysis. Results of experimental analysis show that the out-of-plane vibration of smoke barriers during earthquake produces excessive stress at edge panel’s corners, which leads to the fractures of glass sheets at the boundaries.
