Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 105 === The thesis intends to discover the spatial relationship between “human intervention” and “the natural power” through a prototype. The prototype is integrated by four elements, including construction, materials, plants, and time. The prototype refers to a planting system which is developed with artificial soils (PU foam materials), truss structure systems, plants, and its lifecycle under the background of digital manufacturing technology (3D printing). The planting system mentioned above is light and structural. It is combined by composite materials and can break through the limitation of growing angles. In addition, it will be able to develop free form based on different user demands. Three spatial configurations are orthogonal matrix, curved wall with free form, and combination of fragments. They are developed on the basis of prototype of the innovative artificial soil planting system. The innovative artificial soil planting system can further develop seven relationships with the nature, including fusion, fuzziness, inside and outside, angles, parasitism, hiding, and filling in. The thesis discusses the future potential of spaces via the innovative artificial soil planting system from static spaces to dynamic spaces and from dynamic spaces to growable spaces. The architecture becomes a breathable surface and once again explores the relationship between human beings and the nature.
