Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 中國文學系 === 105 === This study aims at the contemporary writings depicting the rivers in Taiwan, explores the interaction between humans and rivers and discovers which environmental ethics it represents humans. Within the study, it can be categorized into three main subjects via textual interpretations and the theories of geography and ecocriticism as follows: (1) a writing of memories and identity, (2) an understanding of rivers via nature writing, and (3) a text of carrying out the river writings via environmental movement. As a result, it can be seen that river is the treasure house of the growth and memories of the writers. It is extended to be a symbol of identity or a method to observe environmental changes which reflects the significance of environmental history and literary activism.
