Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 105 === In this paper, we show the performance analysis of bit error rate for cooperative communication system with amplify-and-forward protocol and demodulate-and-forward protocol in the wireless environment using hierarchical modulation. Hierarchical modulation, a way to increase the robustness of the system, is used in the communication system. But hierarchical modulation is prone to error propagation, which used to prevent the result of the full diversity gain. Using threshold digital relaying to mitigate error propagation by relying on the signal-to-noise ratio between source and relay. For the rest of this paper we present the accurate formulations of bit error rate with hierarchical modulation over Rayleigh fading channel. And analytical and simulation results are shown with the hierarchy parameter and the threshold value.
