Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中興大學 === 高階經理人碩士在職專班 === 105 === The small businesses in Taiwan usually choose monthly payments now, in 30 days or in 60 days, depending on the industry characteristics, for their financial transactions. Their payment tools include bank transfers and checks, and they thus need to obtain a check discounting or bank line of credit, even raise their working capital. These cost a lot. This study explores the system of paying and receiving at small businesses and a fruit and vegetable auction market is used as an example, in which the convenience and technology achieved by innovative financial services are also analyzed. We utilize the strategic canvas for business model generation and value map as the framework, and conducted several interviews with six managers in charge of introducing the new bank service system. The interview questions are based on and extended from the dimensions in the canvas, and the results are summarized using the theme method. The findings indicate that the system provides the auction market more valuable financial services, including mitigating the inconvenience and security concerns of carrying much cash in the traditional transactions. For the value map dimension, bank managers also point out the issues of unfairness and manual operations in the conventional market could be improved by the technology and digital transactions of the financial tools. In addition, the key resources dimension reveal that one critical successful factor for the new system is the ongoing communication of the bank managers and the staff of the auction market. Together with the autonomy and discipline of the auction market, the new financial service system will deliver more convenience and safety by new technology, and create a role model for the fruit and vegetable auction market.
