It makes sense that the governments would like to have somebody else share the governing burdens. Nevertheless, what would be the incentives for the corporates to assume such extra responsibility? This study examines the case of CTBC Bank to see the mentality and effects of such activities from the perspective of corporate employees. It is found that promoting an altruistic attitude in organization would enhance employees’ satisfaction and loyalty, and thus benefit the employers in general.
