碩士 === 明新科技大學 === 服務事業管理研究所碩士班 === 105 === Taiwan’s terrain has many high mountains with steep slopes. Thus the rivers originated from these mountains have steep slopes and rapid water flows. During typhoon or raining season, the abundant rainfall, together with a large amount of earth flow, would cause river floods and life and property loss. Therefore swiftwater rescue is a very important issue. The present study is to explore the effectiveness of the swiftwater rescue training courses. The study is done by on-line questionnaire survey, and the objects are civil rescuers who have taken trainings from Swiftwtater Rescue New Taipei City. A total of 314 valid questionnaires are obtained. Basic information of gender, age, educational level, occupation, marriage and rescue year are gathered. The questionnaire is based on self-assessment of learning intention, learning attitude and learning effect. The questionnaire is analyzed by the multivariate analysis. The results show that learning intention has a significant positive effect on the learning effect, and on the learning attitude as well. The learning attitude also has a significant positive effect on the learning effect. The results of this study can help to improve the training courses, and provide recommendations for future research.
