Including all the waste before and after food management, even expired food can also be collectively referred to as kitchen waste. Food waste is prone to corruption, odors, and attracting mosquitoes and flies, it is the biggest source of odor, biogas and seepage, stink in a short time, causing trouble. Because of the high moisture content and low calorific value of kitchen waste, therefore it is not suitable for incineration, especially due to the catering characteristics of the Chinese people, the salt in the kitchen waste is usually high, and it is more likely to be the potential source of Dioxin. However, if the burial method is adopted, it may cause secondary pollution problems such as odor and seepage water. Thus, kitchen waste will be classified and recycled as the best treatment. This paper is studying a smart environmental protection device, and this device is divided into five major parts: a device body, a crushing unit, a dewatering unit, a degreasing unit, and a control unit. The kitchen waste is classified into residues, water and oil in the environmental protection device after passing three settings, the intelligent environmental protection device does not require additional costs such as microbes in addition to the operating cost of electricity. According to test results, dealing with kitchen food only costs a maximum of 1.1 NT dollars. The food waste originally treated as garbage can be recycled and reused to provide feed or organic fertilizer. Based on the above, this paper has completed the presentation of each unit.
