According to the MOHW 2013 Cancer occurrence data showed that colorectal cancer still keeps the first place. According to the experience of government widely promotes the fecal occult blood examination in Taiwan, the proof has been showed the effect in reducing colorectal cancer mortality. We also found that one of 21 positive cases, the age is 50 to 74, has precancerous sickness or even cancer; moreover, one of 2 positive cases with no symptom has precancerous sickness or even colorectal cancer. Through the screening, cases with sickness have 94.2% of precancerous sickness and 0-2 period of early sickness can be excellent treatment. But if cases were found cancer not through this screening, they only have 43.1% of probability. It is worrying about screening results were positive cases, as well as up to three percent of the population refused to do colonoscopy, caused not only lost the opportunity to find early sickness, but also wasted the medical resource. The aim of the study was to explore the correlative factors of colorectal cancer screening for the positive cases of fecal occult blood test, finding out the difference between confirmed case and not confirmed case to recommend the tracking strategy for health department. The method of this study was cross-section survey. We collected information by ways of purposive sampling and questionnaires. Cases were positive of colorectal cancer screening in Pingtung County. A total of 270 valid questionnaires were collected. Those 148 positive cases accepted examination of colonoscopy and 122 cases did not after 3 months. From this study, we found those cases have regular jobs and higher degree of education. Also, they know knowledge of colorectal cancer. These kinds of cases have the stronger healthy belief, the severity of consciousness, the interests of action, and also have stronger desire to do colonoscopy. Using Analysis of Ragis Regression and Pattern Screening, the main factors affect the diagnosis were smoking, action interests, and action disorders. We compared not smoking and smoking population. The not smoking positive cases were willing to accept examination of colonoscopy and the probability was increased 1.83 times. The incentive was increased 1point and the probability was raised 1.22 times; otherwise, the probability only 1.04 times. It is recommended to strengthen healthy education to improve people’s knowledge of colorectal cancer, medical institutions, where the screening tool should be provided in advance to strengthen the awareness of detailed health education, when the health department workers are tracking people’s confirmed behavior, should strengthen the interests of action for individuality, reduce action disability, and seek support from major family decision makers to encourage cases to improve motivation.
