The research subjects are 5-year-old (60-71 months) children from two kindergartens (A、B) in Kaohsiung. Including 50 boys and 50 girls, a total of 100 children. This study uses the quasi-experimental design by pre/post testing. 40 minutes/weeks for 16 weeks to survey the difference by exercise and game curriculum before and after. 6 physical fitness tests, which included sitting trunk flexion, one leg stance, sit-ups, standing long jump, 10-meter stamina shuttle run and 20-meter run. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and independent sample t-test. The results is: 1.Based on the scale of 5-year-old nationwide, it is normal in the experimental and control group at height, weight and BMI. 2.Based on the physical fitness scale of 5-year-old nationwide in level 5, the results of physical fitness tests were between common and fine in experimental and control group. 3.After 16 weeks by exercise and game curriculum, it shows significant differences at standing long jump, 10-meter stamina shuttle run and 20-meter run in experimental and control group. Experimental group were better than control group. The results of physical fitness tests were between common and fine. 4.After 16 weeks by exercise and game curriculum, it shows significant differences at 10-meter stamina shuttle run and 20-meter run in experimental group. Besides, boys were better than girls in expermental group. 5.After 16 weeks by exercise and game curriculum, it has no significant differences at physical fitness tests between urban and rural areas. According to the research, not only promote children’s physical fitness capability but also promote children’s exercise capability by exercise and game curriculum after 16 weeks. To suggest, kindergartens should increase the exercise and game curriculum 2-3 time/weeks and 30 minutes/times at last as well as propagate importance of exercise and game curriculum for children exercise capability.
