Motivating employees is vital to any business organization. It can lead to increased productivity and allow an organization to achieve higher levels of output. This thesis has been being studied to explore the factors impact on work motivation. It can lead to increased productivity and allow an organization to achieve higher levels of output. This thesis has been being studied to explore the factors impact on work motivation. Furthermore, it also builts up a model to measure the work motivation in PVEP with four factors: communication, recognition, salary and benefits, and work conditions. Additionally, this study also examines the descriptive information such as age, gender, work experience, and income level. Concerns were found with the employees motivation and performance and the relationship between them clearly defined in the literature review and lately have been discussed in the findings and discussions based on the data analysis done. In order to collect data, interview has been done for people from 200 employees of all official departments, as well as technical divisions in the organization. Questionnaire survey papers were distributed to all employees stated above, and they were willing to fulfill all questionnaire papers delivered. This research results can help PVEP to evaluate their employees and give them some suggestions to improve their employee’s work motivation. It can also be applied for other small and medium enterprises. Hence, those enterprises can choose the most suitable solution to maintain and improve employees’ work motivation. After investigating PVEP’s employees by distributed questionnaire, it was found that three factors communication, salary and benefits, and recognition are related to work motivation of PVEP’s employees and these factors can be used to measure PVEP employees’ work motivation. Recognition is the factor which has much higher influence than communication and salary and benefits. This result is valuable for PVEP in planning to have the right policies to improve its employees’ work motivation.
