Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to find out the current situation of junior high school teachers’ awareness of principal positive leadership and teacher happiness. The divergent awareness caused by different background variables is analyzed. Also, the relationship and prediction between principal positive leadership and teacher happiness are discussed. Questionnaire survey method is applied to collect the research data. The research tool is “Scale of the relationship between principal positive leadership and teacher happiness of junior high school teachers in Taoyuan.” 656 teachers from different junior high schools in Taoyuan are selected to be the research subjects. However, only 474 useable questionnaires are received and the efficiency rate 97.93%. The research data is analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis. The main findings of this study are as follows:
1. The awareness of junior high school teachers in Taoyuan toward principle’s positive leadership are above average.
2. The awareness of junior high school teachers in Taoyuan toward teacher happiness are above average.
3. The divergence of junior high school teachers’ awareness of principal positive leadership reaches significant difference in some background variables, such as sex, job position, and size of school.
4. The divergence of junior high school teachers’ awareness of teacher happiness reaches significant difference in some background variables, such as sex, age, years of teaching, job position, teaching subject, and size of school.
5. The relationship between principal positive leadership and teacher happiness of junior high school teachers in Taoyuan are positive correlated.
6. The prediction of principal positive leadership and teacher happiness of junior high school teachers in Taoyuan are positive.
Based on the findings, some suggestions are provided to the educational authorities, school administrators, junior high school teachers, and future researchers.
