Summary: | 碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 教育研究所碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to explore creative personalities and teaching effectiveness of preschool educators in Kinmen County. Teachers’ creative personalities significantly impact their teaching effectiveness. Specially, creative personalities of preschool educators are obviously important while preschools don’t provide any common textbook. The methodology in this study was qualitative and a questionnaire was conducted. Those 140 copies of the questionnaire were distributed and effective copies of this study were 135. Those collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-Test, ANOVA, and Pearson product correlation in SPSS20.0.
The major findings in this study relating to preschool educators in Kinmen County are shown as follows,
1.Those educators attain high score in creative personality and “independent challenge” dimension ranked as first height.
2.Those educators attain high score in teaching effectiveness and “classroom management” dimension ranked as first height.
3.Those educators with different in-service years, to have or have not qualified preschool teachers, to have or have not child are signicicantly different in creative personality.
4.Those educators with different in-service years, highest diploma, to have or have not qualified preschool teachers, to have or have not child are signicicantly different in totally teaching effectiveness.
5.The correlation of total creative personality and total teaching effectiveness of those teachers are highly positive.
Finally, the educational implications of this study and recommendations for future study are also proposed.
