In light of economic recession, enterprises are competing for experienced professionals as having such employees helps them save time and money on cultivating novice employees. Statistics showed that new graduates’ internship experience (72.6 %) being most emphasized among other elements by enterprises in Taiwan (Cheers, 2017). Previous researches perceived that internship experience may influence interns’ metacognition, self-efficacy and employability (Cheng, 2010; Li, 2010; Li, Pan, & Tsao, 2016). This study was aimed to investigate English major internship students’ metacognitive strategy use, self-efficacy, and employability transition during internship and how they correlate with each other. The study adapted Questionnaire of Metacognitive Strategy Use in Workplace, and Self-Efficacy Scale: General Self-Efficacy (Sherer & Maddux, 1982) and the Chinese version of Internship students’ employability (Youth Development Administration, 2006). The participants were 21 English major internship students at a university in northern Taiwan. The quantitative data were computed through descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and Paired t-test utilizing Statistic Package for the Social Science (SPSS) version 18.0; and the qualitative data were computed through NVivo. The findings indicated that participants were at the high frequency of metacognitive strategy use, high level of self-efficacy, and moderate level of employability. Participants tended to use arranging and planning strategy most, and stayed proactive throughout internship. In addition, participants were at the high level of work attitude and cooperative ability, and medium level of career planning skill and knowledge management and application. This study offers a precise picture about the correlation among variables.
