Description
Summary:碩士 === 銘傳大學 === 商品設計學系創新設計與管理碩士班 === 105 === Along with the rising aging rate, nurses become the replacement of the families to look after the seniors. However, the seniors are lack of the psycho-care which has a negative influence on their physical health. This would also bring a fragile relation between the two generations. The elderly depression is also a common issue. Based on the statistics of 2015 from the DGBAS(Directorate General of Budget, Accounting and Statistics)of the Interior Ministry, the elderly is a main proportion among the current population distribution. The elderly is the target audience of the seniority. This paper, focusing on the young and older people, discusses the products about interaction relations between them and children. Besides emotional support and care from their children, we hope the longly seniors could also keep daily exercising, go to the fun events to have a healthy body and wonderful life. By using the method of questionnaire, this paper makes two-stage quantitative analyses on the interactive products between the young and older people. The first stage discusses the design trend of the products. Through filtering and classifying the products samples of Instructions, Conversations, Operations and Browses, to find out the design samples that the seniors and children use the products on their interactive and recreation. On the one hand, setting the game and entertainment as the sample, analyzing the recognition and acceptance, including appearance, function and overall experience, between the seniors and children. On the other hand, survey the interactive extent between the young and older people with their children according to their interactive demands to recreation. In the second stage, this paper firstly analyzes the documents on the degradation of the leisure function between the young and older people and the data derived from the first stage research, then classifies the data by the KJ-Method as the basis of the design, and finally assesses the data through questionnaires. The three design concepts develop to be the product A — Interesting Folding, product B — Good Grandparents-and-grandchild, and product C — Double Yoga Magic Ball. The results of the survey, Internet questionnaires and paper questionnaires on the three design product samples about the interactive activities between the young and older people, show that the young and older people would be more curious about the appearances of the new generation's activity products because of their deep familiarity with the old ones. Research shows that all of the younger people (25-45 years old), young old (46-64 years old) and the elderly (over 65 years old) prefer the interactive products played before, which have a positive correlation on the interactions with their close friends and families. The paper could provide the designers an idea on the products development as well as the evaluation of the parent-child interactions. The interactive products would increase the interactions between parents and children to promote a close relationship between the elderly and their relatives. This brings the elderly a healthy aging life.
