The definition and application level of virtual reality and interaction are explored in references, and the documents are collected for the research methods for this system design, and then they are concluded and analyzed. Meanwhile, the present applications of virtual reality bicycle are collected to conclude the merits and demerits, so as to know the development and differences in the present virtual reality bicycle application. The advantageous sight spots with rural characteristics are obtained by field investigation and expert interview, the routes for system design are studied out according to the characteristics. The design team discusses the elements for system design, and proposes modern people's demand for exercise and recreation and the special attraction of virtual reality. The system engineering method is used to integrate the required elements and to draw the complete architecture. An interactive virtual reality bicycle system is completed gradually according to the process. The essentials for the interactive virtual reality bicycle route are concluded software and hardware by preliminary element and concept integration, and integrated into the design concept of overall system. Finally, the system integration is tested and the details are trimmed one by one to complete this system design. The system was honored to receive the opportunity to showcase. Through a one-month exhibition total of about 639,000 people come to attended, and to be interviewed and reported by media reporters such as Taichung News. This system is expected to be different from the modern cycling exercise products in the future, the environmental realism is felt during riding.
