Another purpose is the novel positioning surgical guide combined with 3D reverse engineering on craniofacial reconstruction was tested in this study. The CT was used to acquire the clearly images of soft tissue and then using biological gene database from Taipei Medical University health care system to build the construct preoperative planning software, defining implant position, the establishment of a bone filling model, soft tissue filling models. Subsequently, established surgical guide surgical implants niche models and related reference points, and direct printing surgical guide by means of 3D printing according to the range of surgery or fillings patterns. Finally, installation guide rod as the reference chip implants aids, to inform the doctor the bone screw locking angle and location after installation bone filling model. The innovated surgical guide system has excellent biocompatibility. Moreover, a surface functionalized coating can be formed by the NanoMIM processing and TiN coating. The metal surgical guide plate exhibited non-cytotoxicity by MTT assay, cells even could increase a 10~20% growth rate which would prove that our surgical guide system possess the good biocompatibility properties. Furthermore, it was also found that the implant surgery combined with metal surgical guide plate respect to patients with good recovery, improved accuracy of dental implant implantation position. It not only increases the aesthetic, but also effectively enhances the convenience of postoperative oral health. As mentioned above, the reverse 3D craniofacial reconstruction surgery is a promising technology which can be applied in the future.
