Summary: | 碩士 === 龍華科技大學 === 企業管理系碩士班 === 105 === The popularity of the Internet today indirectly impacts the rise of e-commerce and by this boom it contributes to the growth of the Internet marketing, including bookkeepers in services industries. Accounting and bookkeeping firms has no choice but to adjust their own marketing business model to plunge into the Internet market, learning how to use the Internet marketing to create new opportunities and new business opportunities.
This study aims to explore the practice of what accounting and bookkeeping firms deal with in the process of expanding their business and the factors of what small- and medium-sized enterprises consider to choose an accounting and bookkeeping firm. This study employed a qualitative one-on-one structured interview method to collect the data. Two accounting and bookkeeping firms and two small and medium enterprises were separately interviewed.
The result show that after the business expansion through the Internet marketing, accounting and bookkeeping firms believe that the most important factors that consumers consider to choose an accounting and bookkeeping firm are service prices, geographic areas, and professional level, whereas small- and medium-sized enterprises consider professional competence, communication skills, timely provision of financial conditions, service prices, and geographical factors.
Based on the results, it is suggested that accounting and bookkeeping firms should be not influenced by the price; instead, they should pay more attention to their service – the quality of their service and professional competence. It is also advisable that bookkeepers should enhance their professional competence, being very familiar with relevant laws and regulations, and actively participate in the training courses to show good quality and professionalism.
