In this research, extended optimization employed the Taguchi method. In this method, the better design solution is set of the experimental, which uses ANOVA results to quantify the relative dominance and significance of the design factors. It is concluded that the Taguchi method is successful in optimizing the value MTF and RI of the prism lens system.
After further extended optimization by the Taguchi method, which uses ANOVA results, the MTF and RI for prism lens system extendedly increased by 4.23% and 0.06%.
