Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 國際企業系碩士在職專班 === 105 === Due to the wealthy inequality is very worse in Taiwan, the unethical business and management problems become more and more. The appeals and demands on business ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are even more important. The CSR rating by the magazine “Common Wealth” is taken more and more seriously in Taiwan. The CSR indexing is composed by the following dimensions: corporate governance, enterprise commitment, social participation and environmental protection. The literatures are not taken into account the impact of the enterprise commitment and social participation on the enterprise performance. This study aims to explore the impact of corporate commitment and social participation on such enterprise performance in the case of large enterprises from 2007 to 2015 in the Common Wealth. At the same time, not only the CSR indexing, but also the industrial production index, stock index and sales per share were included in the use of panel data, and the mixture regression model, random effects model and fixed effect model are employed to analysis how is impact of the return of equity. The study found that, first, social participation for enterprise performance has a significantly positive impact, mainly due to the high degree of social participation in the exposure, easy to attract consumers to buy the company's related products and services, which is also the corporate society the strategic effect of responsibility. Second, the impact of social participation on the enterprise performance is deferred, the main reason is that enterprises to fulfill their social responsibility, through social participation to enhance their own corporate image, thereby stimulating consumer demand, but social participation communication needs to spread through time, so the effect is late. Third, the industry business cycle has a positive impact on enterprise performance. However, individual manufacturers through the process of social participation can still effectively improve their own enterprise performance. In the future research proposals, this study only uses the enterprise commitment and social participation to explore the impact on the enterprise performance. It is suggested that follow-up research can be added to environmental protection to explore its impact on enterprise performance and R&D investment, because of the concern of enterprises in environmental protection, may reduce production or improve pollution control. Performance relevance to compensate for the lack of this study.
