Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 === 105 === In the application and adjustment of a CNC controller, parameters are critical factors influencing processing speed and precision. However, the mentoring method commonly adopted in workplaces to instruct employees to set parameters based on experience derived from trial and error requires excessive time on parameter adjustment and does not necessarily attain satisfactory outcomes and efficiency. Thus, the present study aims to determine a procedure for optimizing process parameters. The Taguchi method was employed to select key experimental parameters. The Taguchi orthogonal array was applied to design experimental parameter sets and set the parameters levels. Then, experimental results were recorded to facilitate data analysis. This study used CNC controllers developed by a renowned Taiwanese firm to verify the proposed process parameter optimization procedure. The results revealed that the proposed procedure reduced the processing time by a maximum of 62.52%. This outcome provides a definite direction for the case firm in adjusting the parameters of CNC controllers, thereby enhancing the market competitiveness of its controllers.
