| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 工業工程與管理系碩士在職專班 === 105 === Traditional Industry is leading Taiwan’s economic development in the initial stage, but due to internationalization trends and technological progress, plus the surge of manpower costs, growing environmental protection awareness, and greater difficulties in acquiring the lands, it has made Traditional Industry more difficult to survive. To adapt to the tough management situation among fierce competition, not only to adjust the management strategies, Traditional Industry could also focus on corporation transformation to achieve another profit hit. This Study will mainly focus on Traditional Industry Culture, with examples of water hardware company cases. For Taiwan water hardware industry, it is originated from 1960s, when the export market had been opened with the advantages of domestic cheap labor costs, rapid growth of manufacturing industry and growing demands from international market. However, the export demands for domestic water hardware have dropped due to increasing competitions among international market, protectionism, and price competitions from Mainland China.
As the results show in this study, Taiwan water hardware industry still possesses huge advantages. First, with the cluster effects of related industries, a complete supply chain has been created. Second, since industry innovation and cloud platform have combined with daily livesculture, this water hardware Industry will return to the past glory.
