The proposed converter is mainly used in small solar power supply systems. Compared to the traditional converter, it can be in the low liability cycle to achieve a high output voltage boost ratio and so on. Firstly, the circuit principle analysis of the high boost converter is carried out to find the circuit parameter design rules. The main circuit structure and the modulation control module circuit of the high step-up converter with a quasi-active switched-inductor structure are constructed by using Matlab/Simulink. Also, the appropriate control parameters are obtained from the Matlab/Simulink simulation results and then are converted into the circuit component values. Furthermore, Pspice is used to simulate and confirm their control characteristics of the proposed circuit system. Finally, the circuit is implemented to verify the feasibility of the converter.
