碩士 === 國立高雄應用科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 105 === The slow learning curve of sophisticated patent search systems prohibits newcomer’s access to their target information. Intended for novice users, a patent search system featuring simplified feedback mechanism is presented in this article. The proposed system conducts terminology frequency analysis on initial search, and then construct subsequent query using standard Boolean operators. The feedback is implemented with user-friendly menu and check-box. The process repeats and eventually converges to user’s target information. As revealed in the proto-typing system, the proposed system is expected to be a value tool for novice users in intellectual property management.
