Human beings in this generation no longer could live without electric products. For instance, lad top, mobile, PDA, etc. provide us not only convenient but also colorful life. However, the more common use of the electric equipment also causes the lack of the original design of wall socket in the building. To fully satisfy our demands in electricity, RPT industry now was born accordingly. The main function is to extent the use of the wall socket in order to provide the convenience to the consumers. The purpose of this research is, through the industry analysis, to discuss the Power Strip industry current situation, its’onstruction and the future developing tendency. The theory is to construct this industry’s environment to the related business’competitive strategy. To do that, we can fully understand what the RPD field may face. Also, control the key successful points in order to maintain and develop the competitive advantage in the future. On the other hands, take one of the biggest power supply cord –S as an example, through this industry and competitive strategy analysis, to discuss the company –S current business situation and its whole environment.
