Summary:碩士 === 高雄醫學大學 === 運動醫學系碩士在職專班 === 105 === Purpose: This study was to investigate the effectiveness of the XBOX active video game on the pressure, self-perceived health status, sleep quality and fitness among female shift-work nurses. Method: This study used a one group pretest-posttest design. A total of 22 participants were recruited from a hospital in central Taiwan. All participants asked to play XBOX Just Dance 4 for at least 150 minute each week for 6 weeks. The data were collected using the questionnaires: Nursing Stress Scale, the 36-Item Short Form Health Survey (SF-36), and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The fitness test also measured. Results: After 6 weeks of XBOX active video game, there were significant improvements working stress, self-perceived health status, sleep quality and fitness test in shift-work nurses. Implication: The XBOX active video game could improve working stress, self-perceived health status, sleep quality and fitness in female nurses with shift work. It has shown that dancing exergaming can positively impact on physical and psychological health.
