Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 管理碩博士班 === 105 === Dealing with human is not an easy task; therefore a leadership style holds an important role in organization because a good leader can influence their follower to achieve organization goals. However, each leader has their own characteristic and style in coordinate their subordinates. Through this study, the author wants to explore how leadership styles affect job satisfaction and job performance. This study used SPSS software. This study used survey to collect data by distributing the questionnaires through online by using Google Docs. Sample of this study consisted of two hundreds (200) respondents. The respondents are work on top 20 companies in Indonesia. This study reveals that the leadership style is significantly and positively correlated to job satisfaction and job performance. Furthermore, this study finds that job satisfaction has a mediator role on the relationship between leadership style and job performance. The results can give suggestion to industry and academic.
