In order to increase the benefits of city marketing and demonstrate the achievements to the people, local festival activities have become a popular strategy worldwide recently.
This research takes Luodong Art Carnival as an example to explore the levels of
importance and satisfaction on the perspective of Luodong residents who have attended our study case. During the research, questionnaire survey was adopted to
collect the residents’ experience. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics,
independent sample t test, reliability analysis, importance-performance analysis(IPA) and SWOT.
The result shows that, overall speaking; residents were satisfied with the activities festiveatmosphere. Besides, our study indicates “environment protection” is the key issue residents care a lot, but also one made residents dissatisfied.
