Description
Summary:碩士 === 醒吾科技大學 === 資訊科技應用系 === 105 === In order to understand the impact of age on respiration, this study takes the training data from Xinbei Fire department as the research object. The training data are from the designed four types of exercises (circulating staircase, pulling device, treadmill, and bicycle) which are according to the firefighting operation. The amount of respiration is the most basic combat capability of firefighters; through the analysis of four exercises to identify the most needed physical attributes for firefighters to strengthen further improve the training plan for the future. Breathing test as the name suggests is the physical fitness test for firefighters wearing a full set of fire-fighting clothing and SCBA (air respirator, Self-contained breathing apparatus) in high pressure fire combating working environment. The test results vary due to each participant’s physical and psychological condition. The breathing method and the operational speed will differentiate the results. Sometimes even the nervousness under the pressure will impact the test results. In general, deep inhaling and slow exhaling is the standard method to achieve desirable results by SCBA. The results show that the age of firefighters and the amount of breathing is in positive correlation that is, the older the firefighters the greater the amount of oxygen required. At the same age, after cardinal training, the amount of oxygen can be reduced. In addition, age is correlated to sports energy, which can also be improved after proper physical training. Those results show the impact of physical training on the firefighters.
