The number of home care services agencies established by hospitals is sprouting, and the competition is heating. This research is mainly aimed at understanding the motivations of nurses and the new management tactics adopted by nurses who work in non-hospital related home care services agencies. The approach we used to conduct this research includes qualitative studies, clinical participations, and semi-structured interviews. We have interviewed nine nurses who work in non-hospital related home care services agencies. Data are collected and analyzed based on the above methods. This research shows that nurses tend to avoid clinical nursing jobs and seek to participate in home care services, because they need more free time to take care of their families. To tackle the competitions, nurses make best use of their experiences and skills. They are improvised to deal with each individual case, to use social resources, and to find the best way to get job done. Furthermore, they manage to find right people to serve. They are always aware of the opportunities and competitions. They increase the value of their job by combining the resources from different businesses. They also work together with the competitors to enlarge the economies of scale. Through Dr. Alex Osterwalder 's business model, which is aimed at every factor of SWOT analysis. We found, for home care service to make a profit, we should value potential customers, key partners and key resources. Meanwhile, we suggest the authorities should provide the nurses who participate in home care services with more resources. We also suggest that the authorities could develop a home-care service registration APP to shorten the processes of registration and increase the efficiency. This APP could improve the traditional registration processes and increase the consistence of documentary. Huang, Wen- Chuan 黃玟娟 2017 學位論文 ; thesis 100 zh-TW
