Due to the fact that Muslim population already comes to be almost one-fourth of the world, it will be a great opportunity to increase national income and to promote mutual trades for their high consumption power. Henceforth, the thesis expects to analyze from daily requirements and Islamic religion in order to understand better what their basic requirements in terms of lodging while traveling. In the thesis, Indonesian labors working in Taiwan are the main objects for the research. Techniques such as cross-analysis were adopted for an empirical analysis within the research procedures, in terms of conducting questionnaire for testing how satisfied customers may feel on lodging during trips. The questionnaire is formed by 3 main parts of facility arrangement, room and employer requirements, and other items, and will be organizing 19 questions regarding individual room arrangement, bedroom and toilet setting, public facilities, and etc. in order to analyze what Muslim tourist need in a touring trip. Based on research results, Taiwanese hotels usually have few knowledge on Islamic cultures such as dressing forms of servants, public manners in accordance with Islamic standards, female and family privacy, and commercial brands that suit Muslim tourists, all of which mentioned above have long been ignored by our government and hotel owners. Besides, the thesis will provide practical advices based on results from the research, and help to attract more Muslim tourists for traveling in Taiwan.
