| Summary: | 碩士 === 華梵大學 === 哲學系碩士班 === 105 === With the increasing of the population and consumption, the environment is getting worse and worse and the natural resource is getting less and less. Human beings figure out that there is an impact between the population and the environment, so they face the dilemma that is the growth of the population and the protection of the environment and try to solve it. Even though the world population is increasing, Taiwan and many countries face the problem that is the low birth rate.
From the theory of Environmental Ethics and population theory, people can understand there is an impact on population and the natural environment. Moreover, from the point of ecofeminism, people understand the more value of the female. The function of female is not only for giving birth. From the theory of land ethic, deep ecology and the priority principle from P. W. Taylor and Tom Regan, people figure out the total number of the population is too high. In this situation, the increasing of the population is not a good solution because it may cause the environmental problem.
In this paper, people think there is a balance between the earth and the fertility. No matter the point from the west and east, people think they should not encourage the fertility. Especially, the density of the population in Taiwan is too high, but they face the problem of the low birth rate. The best way may let the population develop naturally. So that there is a balance between human beings and the environment if people respect the nature and the female.
