碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士在職專班 === 105 === The purpose of this study is to understand and discuss the current situation and needs of the professional ability of Basketball Coaches for Primary, Middle, and High School from the Northern Region in Taiwan. We used the questionnaire survey as our research method, a total of 87 valid questionnaires. All statistical analysis was performed using SPSS for Windows v.22.0, descriptive statistics and one way ANOVA for data processing and analysis. The results are as follows: 1. Basketball Coaches for Primary, Middle, and High School from the Northern Region in Taiwan are mainly male, most of their education background are University and Graduate Institute. Gymnastics teachers part-time are in the majority, the ages between 30 to 39. A majority of working experience is 1 to 5 years. Obtain the Level C coaching certificate and be in the qualifications as a player to the school team for the most. 2.The overall ability of Basketball Coaches for Primary, Middle, and High School from the Northern Region in Taiwan with a good degree of the status quo. Whether in the professional ability to have or need, "basketball technical training and operational capacity" and "tactical and strategic application" are in the three first of the basketball coach in elementary, junior high and senior high school country. 3.In the professional ability of Basketball Coaches for Primary, Middle, and High School from the Northern Region in Taiwan to have, there are significant differences in gender, education level, age, teaching duties, working years, and as the player level. 4.In the professional ability Basketball Coaches for Primary, Middle, and High School from the Northern Region in Taiwan to need, there are significant differences in gender, education level, age and teaching duties.
