The idea behind this paper is to shed light on the evolution of the sharing economy and to stimulate thinking in regard to how individuals will utilize the widely available sharing platforms in the years to come. The San Francisco housing market will also be analyzed in order to gain a better understanding of the attributes of successful listings within the real estate sharing economy such as Airbnb.
