The study aimed to explore the relationship between rural accommodation entrepreneurship and well-being. Through semi-structured in-depth interviews of the entrepreneurs and review of related literature (journals, government data, media reports etc.), we found in the fields of housing, environment, education and community, the entrepreneurs’ well-being is improved. In terms of income, work-life balance, and subjective feelings of well-being, they can be improved only when the business is stable and well. Prior to that stage, entrepreneurship usually weakens the entrepreneurs’ well-being. The personality trait of interviewees is inclined towards openness to new experience and extroversion.
