碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 音樂學系 === 106 === Johann Sebastian Bach’s Chaconne is a classic program of violin’s bible. The purpose of this study was to investigate the hidden story and simplied structure on this work. This essay can be divided into four chapters. Chapter one, presents the purpose, parameters, methods of the research. Chapter two, introduces the biography of composer. Chapter three includes the creation background. And the auther had written "Christ lag in Todesbanden" sheet music dictation from CD album "Morimur". Chapter four, conducts the analysis of Arpeggio fragment and nine kinds of "Ground bass" figure. The finally, chapter five unfolds the conclusion of this study. The results of the study were that Chaconne had hidden the Easter hymn by Bach. He had the mission of Christ. And, Bach used "Ground bass" in whole Chaconne. Bach's mission to Christ, the holy chant in the "summer dance", in the use of repeated bass in the variation. With relating information presented in the thesis, my own thoughts on this work, and the experience gained from the performing instances. I wish to assist the violinist understand the meaning and structure of this work, for further musical interpretation and analysis.
