Summary: | 碩士 === 佛光大學 === 管理學系 === 105 === In recent year, defense department has been conducting“Jing- Shih”, “Jing- Jin”, and “Jing-Ts’ui” etc. military downsizing plans. Although each job vacancies are already reducing the staff, readiness tasks and relief missions are not reducing. Defense department internal promotion pipeline are not smooth, and most workplaces are remoteness that resulting in difficult taking care of family. Therefore most soldiers are apply retired who were not reached maximum service life.
In order to realize this reason, in this study, we recruited administration staff of National Defense University as our study participants, and use questionnaires survey to investigate that soldiers turnover reason. Two hundred questionnaires were distributed, and take out 142 questionnaires valid questionnaires. Results have shown that(1)leadership style is positive related to organizational commitment, but leadership style is negative related to turnover intention.(2)leadership style and organizational commitment both can significantly predict turnover intention.
The results of this study show that if the National Defense University intends to avoid excessive retired staff or losing their top talent, the senior supervisors must to build up good leadership styles to attain the trust and relines of their subordinates. It will be a win-win situation for both of them.
