碩士 === 佛光大學 === 傳播學系 === 105 === The purpose of this study was to understand the "difficulties" of our next generation using communication software through the Big Five personality traits, the establishment and maintenance of friendship and the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), even as recommendations for future research and reference. In this study, junoior high school students of Yilan County was selected as the study sample and we conducted a questionnaire survey to facilitate the data collection. The research tool was the questionnaire " How do personality traits and friendship affect LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use of the students in the Yilan County as an example" prepared by the researcher. In this study, a total of 794 questionnaires were collected, of which 200 were not the users of LINE, so the final statistics were 594 valid questionnaires and 200 invalid questionnaires. The answers to the valid questionnaires were coded as quantifiable data that could be analyzed .The SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science 22) and the SmartPLS were used to analyze the data.Analytical methods included descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis and partialleast square (PLS) of Structure equation modeling(SEM). After the analysis, the CR value of this study was between 0.877 and 0.953 (> 0.6), indicating that the facet of this study had good internal consistency. The AVE value between 0.514 to 0.870 (> 0.5) , indicating that the multiple indicators of the same construct were aggregated or related to each other. In addition ,the t-statistics was obtained through Boothtrapping and the corresponding p-value was obtained by statistical transformation to determine whether the hypothesis was significant. The results were as follows:
1. The t-statistics was 15.436 and the p-value was 0.000 in the regression analysis of the relationship between the extraversion personality trait and the establishment and maintenance of friendship, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with extraverted personality trait of the subjects, there was a significant difference in the establishment and maintenance of friendship.
2. The t-statistics was 1.801 and the p-value was 0.072 in the regression analysis of the relationship between the extraversion personality trait and LINE's Perceived Usefulness, which meant that the hypothesis was not significant. In other words, with extraverted personality trait of the subjects, there was no significant difference in LINE's Perceived Usefulness.
3. The t-statistics was 6.848 and the p-value was 0.000 in the regression analysis of the relationship between the extraversion personality trait and LINE's Perceived Ease of Use, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with extraverted personality trait of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Perceived Ease of Use.
4. The t-statistics was 16.501 and the p-value was 0.000 in the regression analysis of the relationship between LINE's Perceived Ease of Use and LINE's Perceived Usefulness, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with LINE's Perceived Ease of Use of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Perceived Usefulness.
5. The t-statistics was 13.450 and the p-value was 0.000 in the regression analysis of the relationship between LINE's Perceived Usefulness and LINE's Attitude toward Using, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with LINE's Perceived Usefulness of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Attitude toward Using.
6. The t-statistics was 10.309 and the p-value was 0.000 in the regression analysis of the relationship between LINE's Perceived Ease of Use and LINE's Attitude toward Using, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with LINE's Perceived Ease of Use of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Attitude toward Using.
7. The t-statistics was 2.238 and the p-value was 0.026 in the regression analysis of the relationship between the establishment and maintenance of friendship and LINE's Perceived Usefulness, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with actively engaged in the establishment and maintenance of friendship of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Perceived Usefulness.
8. The t-statistics was 8.804 and the p-value was 0.026 in the regression analysis of the relationship between LINE's Attitude toward Using and LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with LINE's Attitude toward Using of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use.
9. The t-statistics was 7.339 and the p-value was 0.000 in the regression analysis of the relationship between LINE's Perceived Usefulness and LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with LINE's Perceived Usefulness of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use.
10. The t-statistics was 2.804 and the p-value was 0.005 in the regression analysis of the relationship between the establishment and maintenance of friendship and LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use, which meant that the hypothesis was significant. In other words, with actively engaged in the establishment and maintenance of friendship of the subjects, there was a significant difference in LINE's Behavioral Intention to Use.
Finally, we may refer to the conclusions above that could be used in our daily life:
1. Interpersonal relationship is the essential element in our life ,parents, teachers can only be their friends in the virtual world by using LINE which makes the relationship more harmonious. You can also teach them to use community software right. At the same time, parents, teachers have to to create multiple "platforms" which can satisfy interpersonal relationship of the students in the real world, so that they can be out of the virtual world any time.
2. There is a famous saying advertisement: technology is always invented because of human nature. I have full recognition in the results of this study. So, any technology products have to take "human needs" into considerration which helps us to gain more competitiveness.
