On the other hand, with the development of building information modeling (BIM) and visual programming technology, architectural design is moving towards intelligent integrated generation. Under the intelligent building and BIM platform technical support, “ The Research of Adaptive Building Facade Strategy and Prototype Based on Daylight Performance Simulation ” are purpose to discuss the necessary ability of modern Adaptive Building Facade. Through the reviewing of the literature to sort the dimension of composition and required conditions of the adaptive building facade archetypes and to discuss the difficulties. In this research, we will use first Optimization strategy validation, second script-based automatic control, as an integrated frame, to discuss the dilemma between the design phase and the management phase. as well as to propose a method of pre-connect between the design phase and the management phase of the whole building lifecycle. Then we will test the operation status and collect the measured field data for the feedback evaluation. And actual build an adaptive facade model. The specific method is from the perspective of the prototype design to use daylight as the main environmental factor. The implementation is divided into "BIM platform modeling and simulation", and "solid model construction" two stages. By the cooperation between the two stage to verify the feasibility of its theory. This research concludes the design strategy and the field simulation, providing valuable reference for designers and managers. In the design strategy, we can propose more optimization recommendations based on the performance analysis results early in the building design stage. In the field simulation, it can provide the actual operation of the state simulation. Therefor , it can achieve and extend the ideal building lifecyclen in BIM.
