The core components of the robot include the robot body, reducer, encoder and so on. However, the core technologies with patent protection are from advanced countries. The barrier of entry is very high. There is no firms in Taiwan capable to mass production. Among these, encoder is the key player to help industrial development and upgrading. The applications of encoder cover servo motors, machine arm, CNC machine tools as well as the smart motor developed by the advanced countries. E company with more than 25 years emphasizes on “innovation and core technology”. Its major application is the controller and encoder of industrial computer. The competency of E company is from its ability to design the combination of optical, electronic, and vacuum glass coating.
